This is a pin, the orchid is lacquered and the white flower to the side is composed of small pearls and a rhinestone center. There are also pearls down the stem of the orchid. It is beatiful as is, but the pin could also be removed and this could be used as a pendant or a component of a larger piece. This one is old, folks, not sure how old but I'd guess 50's to 60's. Great craftmanship, beautiful piece.
