Description

The listing, Live Air Plants Tillandsia Recurvata Cluster Medicinal Natural Growth has ended.

These are Live Air plants or Tilandsia, they don't need soil to survive.
Yes, that is a Cicada Bug Exoskeleton, they shed their exoskeletons on plants and this one had this Cicada on it! If you don't want the exoskeleton let me know at end of Auction, I just think it is so cool!
These are native to Texas, it has finished blooming. Place them in your outside hanging pots.
You can use them in crafts, in arrangements, on wreaths anywhere you'd like some green without the need for a pot. Also can be used for medicinal uses.

Ball Moss has shown significant anti-tumor and HIV/AIDS applications in vitro as well as in animal studies.[citation needed] Dr. Henry Lowe of Jamaica has applied for a US patent for a Ball Moss extract which induces tumorous cell death by apoptosis. From Wikipedia.
Most plants prefer cooler night temperatures - 10-15 degrees less than daytime is ideal
Give them bright, filtered light.
Provided If the atmosphere is not too dry (as in an air-conditioned home) they can survive with water misting and the occasional bath.

If you are growing them indoors and the air is dry, you will need (at minimum) to submerge the plant in water for 2-3 hours about every two weeks. Otherwise, in a shade-house or unheated home, you can use a soaking mist once or twice a week in summer, once a month in cooler weather.
Fertilize by adding a pinch of Orchid fertilizer to your mister.
You may soak your plant for 20-30 minutes if it becomes very dry.
They can be separated into smaller plants.
Bidder will get an air plant much like or larger than the one pictured here. Also bidder if they send me their email will get a detailed instructions of how to care for their plant.
Good luck and I ship the cheapest way possible with tracking.
Good Luck bidding.

I am so glad you got them already. They will need a drink. Soak them for about 15 minutes in water the less chlorine the better (bottled water and they will be good. Mist them couple times a week if inside with air conditioning. If it rains and you can put them outside safely do that. If outside they will be fine unless you live in the desert! You can glue them in place do some research on them and their care. I added some extra as one of the little branches broke.
Thank you so much and have a great weekend

These air plants are quite interesting. I think it is kool you have left the cicada exoskeleton intact on the plant. That is very unique. I am fascinated by those insects and have been so for many years now. I am so looking forward to them descending upon us as they have come for their 17 year annual breeding cycle. These particular species have interested me for their perplexing lifecycle. It is very unique. I have done a few blog posts about them and their lifecycle on my blog. Anyways, it would be interesting to see that exoskeleton nevertheless. Whoever wins this, IMO, would be very, very lucky to receive that. No brood has descended upon my neck of the woods yet. Of course, I am a collector of butterflies, moths, and insects. I guess I am kinda weird and you make thing I am gross and laugh at me, but today I happened upon a huge lunar moth in a parking lot, I would say that is the size and circumference of a dinner plate. That is such a rarity. It was dead but in pristine condition and I have it here in my possession to pin and preserve with others I have in collection. I prefer butterflies and moths but if I find a particular specimen of a bug I like, I will preserve it too. Ach, I am getting away from the topic at hand, these plants are very interesting and if I am around at the end of this auction, I just may put in a bid. I may even get lucky and find myself with this great treasure of a cicada exoskeleton. I will have to go to great means to preserve it to keep it in pristine condition, but it would be worth it for sure. I have some thoughts, on the craft and decor side, what I might do with these air plants. Good luck, everyone! And may the best man win and enjoy this great find the seller has to offer! It sure is a great one! :)

Not at all laughing or think your strange! Why do you think I left it there? I figured someone would want it, as I don't know it's sex. We get them all the time and they stay well preserved just between two round convex and concave dishes with a gasket around edges to hold together. The Luna Moth is wonderful. I once got one when I was little he was huge and very green. Good luck if you do bid. and good luck to everyone.
Thank you
