The listing, Legend of Himiko (Himiko-Den): Volume 1, Sacred Fire DVD has ended.
This anime has the most BEAUTIFUL OPENING I HAVE EVER SEEN. I am serious, watch it NOW - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9vCCWyapZs . Isn't it gorgeous? I used to watch the opening over and over in high school until I actually bought the anime.
The anime itself is okay; the animation is definitely not what you see in the opening T.T It's a used DVD and perfectly fine except for a hole in the plastic wrapping of the cover.
Questions & Comments
ive bidded on both of them and i am learning japanese so this will help ^_^
WolfGirl.. where are you learning Japanese (at school?).. I'm self-learning, it's not easy..but I know a quite a bit and am working on my fluency of reading hiragana and katakana faster..as well as starting Kanji.. this does have a very nice opening by the way ^_^v it's funny, I already have the opening song to this (Pure Snow) but I've never actually seen the anime! and oh! i love Romeo x Juliet! I am fortunate to have the complete set at our local library, so i didn't need to buy it XD <-- i have that opening song too btw!
i WAS learning japanese but they kicked me out cause i was failing my other english class and i have to own romeo X juliet i love the story and the anime makes it more appealing to me
wow, that sucks! but hey, you can always keep trying to learn on your own, that's the beauty of learning languages! there's even lots to help nowadays, what with the DS game(s) out there and all.. (i own My Japanese Coach, it's great!!) but don't give up just cuz they kicked you out!! ~ ganbatte! ^_^v
oh no T_T ~ i'm sorry bout your kitty too! my condolences to you. Yeah, it was difficult.. our kitty wasn't very old at all..so it was very unexpected and painful TT_TT ~ but! we turned around and rescued 2 (mature) kitties from the shelter!! and they are ~wonderful~ so everything turned out ok.
So, jadeco, did you adopt from OHS (Oregon Humane Society). They certainly have a wonderful cattery there and you know that you are getting a healthy kitty, as they guarentee them. My housemate got a kitty a couple months after we lost Old Man Cat, but she did not survive. We think that she got an infection from her surgery. They refunded his money because he found a kitty he liked at The Pixie Project, a dog and kitty shlter run by the same folks who run Virgina Woof Doggy Daycare on MLK. Hope your new family members are faring well.
