what i mean by marked is, does it have anything stamped in the metal, like 925 or any other mark? it would be found on the clasp or heart. "ty."

You probably mean Goldtone, not real gold because it is not marked. 14KT Right?
Otherwise its just inexpensive jewelry? Plated with gold color?

You say it is in good condition but the picture shows its very darkened with marks where it says I love you. Is it? Or is it a bad picture and the locket has no dents or scratches?
