This is a couple of matchbook advertising repair kits from Wonder Bread and Dayton's Favorite Certified Sliced Bread.

Dayton's Favorite - This matchbook ladies stocking repair kit is dated 1945. Exterior side: DAYTON'S FAVORITE (has a picture of loaf of bread from Certified Sliced Bread). The flip side reads, "4 Ways Rich! Serve this delicious better bread to day" Inside cover: To Prevent Stocking Runs (gives instructions) MADE IN USA 1945 Adv. Serv. Div. Inc. Darns the Tear - Prevents the Run.

Condition: Paper is not brittle but there is some fading of color. Seems to be a complete kit with needle and extra thead.

Wonder Bread - Also dated 1945. On the exterior: one side contains a picture of a loaf of Wonder Bread. The flip side says, "WONDER BREAD Build Strong Bodies 8 Ways! On the inside cover: To Prevent Stocking Runs (gives instructions) Darns the Tear- Prevents the Run. Made in USA 1945 Adv. Ser. Div. Inc.

Condition: Doesn't look used at all. Very good vintage condition!
