How did it work for you and did you use it on a cat or dog?

Was used on both a cat and a dog. The dog handled it better, since his nails were thicker. It seemed like the cats nails liked to catch more. If you think your pet will stay calm to use it, it should be perfect. It might be a bit loud for more skittish pets.

It is very much like a dremel tool. It has a guard with a hole, where you insert your pets nail. A spinning file files down your pet's nails.

F&W I lost mine, and my dog seemed to be an exception to the rule. He didn't mind it, but most dogs wouldn't even stay in the room when it was on!
