Several years back I entered a contest to recycle~transform something totally trashed into something unique and useful.
I selected a badly rusted serving tray that I found at a thrift shop.
The overall theme we were trying to achieve was Southwestern. I decided to go with a vase design with lots of bold colors and a variety of sequins, rhinestones, beads and glitter.
I displayed the tray for several years but now it's time to pass it along. It's an attention grabber for sure, great conversation piece. Displays nicely with a large plate stand. A piece of colorful eye candy.
This looks so much better in person. I'll try to get better photos of it...that is if I can get my hubby to take the pics:)
