listia has changed the rules on how these must be listed again and I am no longer allowed to offer to order it for the winner in my auction listings. So this will be delivered to the winner as a link and code to redeem themselves for the subscription. It is a very easy process, the trouble stems from the fact that listia's system sometimes inserts random spaces in the middle of the link, which results in the winner reaching the regular paid subscription page instead of the page to enter the code for the free subscription. If this problem comes up, it can be taken care of by me sending the link and code to the winner via email. I will still be available to help the winner with any problem that may come up.

I'm sorry, I don't share my sources for my magazine subscriptions. All I will say is that I "buy" these (with the help of some family and friends) with points earned on various sites we belong to.

No, no spam involved that I am aware of. I have used these to subscribe to every magazine that I offer except for 2 of them, and I have never gotten any spam from it. You do have the option when you redeem the code to subscribe to have them send emails to you periodically and I always uncheck that. No catches at all, no obligation to continue once your year is over. Look at my feedback...I have thousands of happy customers and many come back repeatedly for more subscriptions! :)
