what does EUC stand for?

Hi, resident! "EUC" is the abbreviation for "Excellent Used Condition". It's a type of rating used to describe an item's condition. "EUC" is generally used for items that are like new, or without any flaws. You'll see it commonly on selling sites like eBay, Bonanza, etc., and I've even seen it on here, too. The next step down is "VGUC" (Very Good Used Condition) ie; with minor flaws, and then "GUC" (Good Used Condition) ie; possibly with noticable, but minimal flaws. And last- "FUC" (Fair Used Condition) ie; things heavily used, noticably flawed. Most people don't usually try to sell items in "FUC". It wouldn't be in very good condition with that rating. (Plus it just looks R-rated, lol! :). Hope that clarifies things for you! You'll probably see those abbreviations around, now that you've noticed it :). Thanks for the great question!

I was just asking because you had two identical listings for the Ruby game up. Was just checking in case maybe there was an accidental duplicate?

Scratch that, I must have been tired when I took a look. I realize that in all my browsing for Pokemon games, I am starting to mesh colors. It was the FireRed game I noticed. Please feel free to disregard. I am somewhat embarrassed now. Haha!

It's mainly embarrassing for how much of a hardcore (might as well be accurate enough) Pokemon player I am to make the mistake. That's all. ^_^;; Thanks.

Haha...Don't feel bad...YOU should have seen ME- trying to list all these games and keep them all straight. They belong(ed) to my son, and I haven't got a clue about the differences between them, let alone anything about Pokemon...except they seem to be all different "Color Versions", lol. We had the Emerald Version listed, but someone did a GIN on it. Now I've got to figure out how to list this blue game cartridge- which doesn't even have a label on it! My son says it's the "Sapphire Version", but he peeled the label off it one day a couple years ago when he was bored! Plays fine, but no label! :) This should be interesting....

If it is a blue GBA cartridge, then it is indeed Sapphire version. It's too bad the sticker has been peeled off, but the good news is that plenty of people don't care. Don't know whether or not you would have though of this, but I would just suggest trying to get a picture of gameplay - even just the menu screen - to show people its legitimacy. The only GBA version I have currently.

I'm working on acquiring each game lately to have a complete collection myself. Unfortunately, that particular game along with another are in need of a battery change, but I'll figure that out at some point. Still, I'll be keeping an eye on the ones I don't have though - at the chance that I have enough credits when auctions end to work on that collection.
