Here is my advice on taking better pictures....do the best you can do and if that is not good enough...oh well. Not everyone is a photographer and all we can ask is that you try to give the best picture you can. I am lucky enough that one of my old Air Force buddies is a professional photographer (he took a lot of pictures that were published in magazines about the war etc.,) and he helps me when I cannot get certain pictures to not look like crap. But not all of us are lucky enough to have a friend like that. If I did not have him...honey....my pictures would look like my dog took them!!! So...my point in all of this...just do the best you can and move on. We understand and we get it.

I took 34 pictures of these earrings. (They really look better than this.) Does anybody know why ????, I'm able sometimes to get spectacular pics showing every detail imaginable... & other times I get cruddy pictures...like these ? Look at some of my other auction pictures....I just don't get it ? Any advice out there ???

if it was me I would mess with my settings; with my camera zoomed all the way in; such as ...make your picture quality "fine" and change your shot to an action shot so there is no blur; also use at least an 8 megapixel camera or phone (most new ones are at least 8 if not more....)
