♥I purchased this item BRAND NEW from Amazon for around $35 and oddly enough, the power cord doesn't work - BUT - you can put batteries in it and it works perfectly fine! :D AND the batteries do NOT run down fast! It goes fairly slow so that you can keep your ribbon in a straight line. It only has one speed, but it works quite well for me when I need lace, ribbon, or other notions wound into a nice, neat spool! :) (I say this because I have another one for myself that I personally use ;)
