Hematite (or hemalyke) is usually a dark gray in color. These have a more golden look. Unless it's just the photos, these look more like pyrite than hematite. Just wondering...

The golden color you are seeing is just the lighting in the picture and the little bit of rusty color in the holes. Hematite is one of many mineral forms of iron oxide, hence the rustiness. The beads are a dark steel grey color.
