This a flash card reader since the cables most people throw away, nor do we read the instrcutions, you put the card in the reader then plug the reader into the USB port of your mac book or laptop you have will download the pics into the iphoto or whatever program you have to your photo library to save and edit. NANANANANANA you need this with extra flash card. DO not save pics on them erase them and reuse. Back up all your photo's once a month onto a disk!
