I would like to win this because I have a cousin who is the same age as I am and been in a coma since he was 16 he was hit by a drunk driver on his way to prom. I now work with a dear friend who likes to go out for a "FEW" beers after work. I have tried explaining with her being 110 pound that a few beer could make her over the limit but she says she's ok. I REALLY want to get this for my daughter Sierra. She will be going to college in about two months and will have her freedom. Even though she still won't be legal, I remember very well what goes on in college. And even though it had a wonderful Biology program it is also one of the top party schools. I want her to first of all survive college and come home to me safe and sound, and two learn responsibilty to help keep her safe the rest of her life. I know some one who tends to drink and drive, I am hoping that she and her boyfriend can see how much they have actually had before driving after drinking. People love them and they need to take better care of the choices they make

well, I guess I would not have listened to zebraguy2000, read all of the other Listians great comments, and added my own if I had not made it home. The majority of people who drink will always believe that they are just fine to drive. The problem with that is soon afterwards the alcohol catches up faster than you may think. My ride home last night seemed a little "iffy" at first, but by the time we got to our place he was no where near being able to drive any longer. He did decline the offer to come in and wait or sleep it off, but I did get his cell phone, called his wife, and explained where he was and that he was going to sleep in the car in my driveway until he was better. It was about an hour and 1/2 ago (6am) I heard him leave, so I know he will not be in a ditch along the side of the road somewhere.
This item will be perfect for a party gag/tool but at the same time allow you to know who is the one that you make sure does not try to get behind the wheel. We may live in a real rural town and area, and usually the worst you see around here from drunk drivers is a car off the side in a ditch, but there is always that chance that something worse can happen.
I appreciate you putting this item up for auction, and hope that if anyone (even zebraguy2000 that has a real honest to goodness reason and use for it) ends up with it that they really put it to good use and not just as a party gag, then let everyone drive off without a second thought!!!
Yes there are many out there that may be able to use this and save many more lives than I will ever be able to, but the lives that I may just save arejust as important to me and even more important to their loved ones. therefore my bid is still up there and waiting. Its not many times that I will reserve and put away that many points 4 days beforean auctions end, but I guess that i feel strongly enough about this one that it makes no difference. thanx again and happy bidding to the rest of you, Mark

I just got home (barely) with someone who actually stated that they could drive since I knew that I could not...at first it seemed that they could, but it did not take long until it was obvious that they could no longer do so.. If I had this today, I know I would have spent the money for a cab home and if no one would take me back to the bar to get my car in the morning, i would have easily spent the money for a cab back. Zebraguy2000 says he has all the points he needs to make sure he gets this... well lets see for points mean nothing when it comes to making sure I get home in one piece, especially when I have my wife along with me. My biggest problem is... when someone says that they are ok, give them 15 minutes or so, and that is about all it takes for the rest of the alcohol to kick in. If I lived that close, i would just walk home. There are some of us who really do care about ourselves, let alone caring even more about what we may do to someone else.
Does this item come with multiple ends so that everyone does not have to use the same end to blow into? It does work off of breath, not blood as you stated on the description that it tests your blood, right? There is no one who will allow a "pin-*****" these days with all of the fears going around about blood diseases. I am now the high bidder, and plan to give "big mouth' a run for his "points". You may not live anywhere near where I drive, "Zebraguy2000" but I am willing to bet that you would rather have someone not cross your path that is too drunk to see you than to turn you into some of these others who have made remarks that are now disabled because a drunk driver put you into a situation that you can only sit home and spend your points instead of being able to run around and have a good time or be sitting in a cell for the rest of your life!!!

RESPECT is earned and I guess that some need to learn what the word actually means...rather than giving you the definition from a dictionary I will tell you that you do not earn respect here by messaging other people asking for things that do not belong to them.

I understand that some may not have the credits to bid on this auction but please do not message another individual who considers THIS particular individual their friend asking if I can get you one for cheap because you do not have enough credits to bid. Although absolutely NOTHING bad was said about ms thuff in the message I find it incredibly offensive that someone would assume that I would do so.

We all run low on credits at one time or another or at the very least we all started the same way as anyone else....so although I am sympathetic to your situation it is up to you what you choose to do about it. I will tell you that you will not last long here by doing that sort of thing even if you did not mean any harm. All I can tell you is the same thing I told you in my response. Be patient, continue to list short auctions, or high end items till you get on your feet. Continue to watch this auction or contact msthuff I really cannot do anything for you.

I don't drink and I dislike folks who do due to the dangers of drinking & driving

As i stated on the last auction, i don't drive due to disability so i want to know how much my drivers have had to drink.

i would love to have it because my daughters boyfriend drinks & drives and this would be a great gift for them....i don't have enough credits to bid but im fine with that....just had to comment anyway cause its a great item to offer....GOOD LUCK to everyone who has bid

I see several bids from people that didn't put why they want this. If you want in on the drawing, lets hear what you want to say.
One guy on the last auction said he wanted to be able to show the police! What ever reason you have is great. Its responsible, saving your life, a friend, relative. Keeping you from getting sued if you allow friends to drink at your home! Yes that happens, use it before you drive your boat! Did you know you can get a bui? Boating under the influence. I actually served on a jury for that.
As I said this is personal for me. When I was 24 I had 1 friend killed and his wife is a vegetable. They were drunk on their motorcycle and the a drunk driver in a pick up hit them.
