The listing, 925 Heart Necklace & Bracelet Set has ended.

Brand New.... Never Worn Necklace and Bracelet Set.

This is a Beautiful 925 Marked Set. The Heart part of the necklace slides up and down, so you can make it a choker or longer( as in the picture). The chain is almost like liquid Silver, it moves freely. I don't think this chain will ever kink, like other chains.

I took a lot of Pictures, so you can see how Beautiful these pieces really are.

I was told these are Silver, and they passed the Magnet test (they did not stick). I would say they are Sterling, but I would not guarantee it.....

I recall a seller awhile ago listing a bunch of so called sterling silver pieces, which he had rec'd here on listia, I personally as well have recd a few pieces that were stamped and were not sterling silver. The one thing he mentioned to look out for was the tags that hang from the jewelry pieces and are stamped 925 stating they were not 925 sterling silver. I can't recall the seller, i know he has been on here for awhile.

Its a shame you never know what your getting. But, you have to remember this is a Free Site. Most people on here are not experts. But I believe 99.9% of the people on here are honest. If you want stuff with a guarantee, you need to go to Kohls, or Wal-Mart.
I Love this site. Its allows me to get stuff that use to be out of my reach. And to find homes for stuff I've loved, but I refused to sell at a garage sale for a quarter.
Just bid on stuff you really want.

You can almost tell that it's silver from the pics, the way something is reflecting off of the hearts, they almost look bronze in some pics. There is one sure way to test and it's not acid or anything that will hurt the metal, no matter what it is. If you wear a liquid foundation, rub a piece of the jewelry in a straight line on your cheek, the apple of your cheek, with some pressure, if it is silver or gold, it will leave a black mark. If it doesn't leave a mark, then it's not silver or gold. It only works with sterling or any karat gold, it will not work with pure silver or tibetan silver. I love tibetan silver and pure silver, but they're just so soft. And, just because it's stamped 925 does not mean it's silver. Most of the time, it does, but if someone is trying to rip you off, it's very easy to make a 925 stamp. I'm telling you, the foundation trick works every time. You can also rub a pearl on your tooth, if it's a real pearl, you will get a gritty feeling. If not, it's just a slick feeling. Now I'm not advising you go into a jewelry store and start rubbing jewelry on your face or pearls on your teeth, you'll get thrown out, but these 2 tricks really do work. That really sucks what happened to you... Makes me rethink about my auctions. There's all sorts of silver out there, even marked .925, which means it is 92.5% silver and mixed with other metals. Of course, the worth of silver is more depending what metal it is mixed with. Usually the cheap ones are mixed with nickel and have a black tarnish to it...Higher quality will have a pinkish hue. If layers of different metal is present, then it is obviously plated or fake. And yes, fake silver leaves a green stain. Good luck!!! I'm watching this cause it is just an absolute beautiful set :)

I agree with cordialtrader if it IS marked it is more then likely silver if you have any doubts maybe you should say silver tone and then have it checked if you win
