was it a Tria Laser? there are others that use different types of lasers. Or, are from Europe and are not accepted /certified by American Standards. i almost bought one from France that sounded very good, but i got concerned that it did not meet American qualifications and that some buyers could not get a response from the company once they paid for and received the device. No-No has a good review and is much cheaper, but it uses a heat type laser and you need a certain amount of hair growth above the skin surface before it will remove the hair. my concern was the chin. therefore, even the slightest amount of growth was too much. with the Tria Laser, it will zap the hair even if it is below the skin surface--having black hair, that's what i needed. i purchased this new for $529, plus tax and handling. i used it on a small area, the tip of my chin for a total of 12-14 times at the most. yes, it's used--on e-bay used ones are going for about $300 and for all you know it could have been used on full set of legs or a man's fully covered back. if it was used alot, it could be ready for a new bulb, which are costly themselves. MOST IMPORTANTLY, the whole hair removal process is a personal choice. it took me from the age of 16 to the age of 45 to find my answer. (electrolysis did nothing for me and i went for 2 years) the Tria was my answer AND IN MY DEFENSE, MY ASKING PRICE IS CORRECT. i even reduced it and relisted it because of the responses i got. Perhaps i should just list on ebay. sorry u think my asking bid is too high, but you are certainly entitled to express yourself.
