Not sure what you mean by perm but ogilvie smooth,straighten, tame frizz & waves lasting for months. have not had a prem in years, all i know is it straightens your hair. and like i said it does last a nice long time. sorry not a hair expert, don't know the tech. names for different hair procedure's. good question though :}
