i have the same issue. i ended up just getting a usb port that takes SD cards. lol. he looks like he belongs with the rest of my stuffed animals. (the only thing i allow my inner child to keep xD)

It's frustrating cuz I actually took great photos on another camera, but I couldn't upload them because of not finding the cable. So I have one camera that can't get its batteries recharged without a cable I can't find, & the other camera is holding my photos hostage until I can find its cable! :P Your USB Port idea seems like a good solution. :) There are so many stuffed animals I adore. I know what you mean. <3
