The workmanship on this brooch is amazing! It is made up of 4 levels of circles, each being prettier than the next! We have the main circle of prong set, lilac colored, bright & sparkling rhinestones, next is a smooth & shiny, polished gold circle, next, a smaller circle, but this one is brushed gold, & last is a cup shaped Flower of brushed gold petals with another gorgeous, lilac, prong set rhinestone inside it! WOW!!!
What a wonderful composition! This brooch is jeweler's quality as is evidenced by the puddling of the gold backing. A MUST HAVE for the collector or the discerning woman who adores beautiful jewelry. It's a High End Costume Piece, circa mid-century & in excellent Vintage condition.
