The listing, Rare 1862 Series Documentary Stamp has ended.

50 cent Surety Bond documentary stamp from the 1862 Washington series. The stamp contains a hand written cancel date of April 28 1866 and initials I think are HSN in red ink. This stamp was apparently used one year after the end of the Civil War. Please enlarge to see stamp being offered in this auction. As with all my stamp auctions, the winner will receive free bonus stamps.
