it is lit. I love this little gizmo. At first I couldnt get it until i learned to take that brightest piece of reflected sunlight and focus it on the tip of what the spring holds. It is very easy if it can rest on something. I have had to increase the points for 2 reasons, the first is the almost 15 % for picking a starting bid and a GIN and the second for the 2.09 that I have to pay for shipping. Im sorry but I just cannot carry that cost anymore.
