is this sterling silver plated? not being a ass I just got a ring on there the other day and the ring was marked 925 // and the person said it was sterling silver but it was sterling plated 2/3 day later my wifes finger turned green ..... I really love this ring

HI! This is also stamped .925. I bought it from someone else so to be honest, I don't know if it is plate. I always assumed that if the item was stamped, that meant it was ss, but I could be wrong. (It's happened before lol) I would hate for your wife to have a green finger! A trick I learned is to paint the metal with a thin layer of clear nail polish and then that does not happen, Thanks so much for asking. I'll fan you. Aloha Kathy
