Not at all, I totall know what you mean. It's funny how our labels can get turned around on us with unforeseen consequences. I chose 'crookedman' to be CrookedMan Creations, my DBA for my blacksmith/Art Metals/ Jewelry studio because of a Back injury that disabled me from my previous profession. My logo is a crooked man bent over, supporting himself w/ a staff (think "Pilgrims Progress"). Since, I use it as both DBA and screenname. It seriously never occurred to me that there could be negative connotations to the name until someone made a comment at a site where I was selling some knives. I explained the backstory just like this, and I'll swear my sales increased 30% for a while, I'm not sure why. But, since then, aware of possible misapprehension, I've become convinced that people actually seem to relish buying from me, rather as if they get an adrenalin rush by dealing dangerously yet coming through the experience unscathed! People are WEIRD, and I LOVE WEIRD!!!

that's very true sometimes the quote un quote DANGER can be a real thrill for some people but id rather play it safe I got my nick name because I creep up on my family and scare them all the time usually while wearing a weird or scary mask and after they get scared and the see its me they allways say "GOD THATS CREEPY " and then we laugh about it all harmless fun they try to get me to but it dosent work MOST OF THE TIME lol just for kicks have a good time bidding/listing
