This is the story that started it all. The legendary Spartacus series. And actually, it's the prequel to Season 1 and was called Season 1.5. In a time where great TV shows are few and far between The Spartacus Series stands high above the rest. The violence, direction and cinematogrophy, the writing and even that language is unique and original. I see why it's an award winning show. When watching it, I imagine, this is what it must have been like when Rome ruled the world! I can't say enough about this show.

Before Spartacus struck down his first opponent in the arena, there were many gladiators who passed though the gates onto the sand.'Spartacus: Gods of the Arena' tells the story of the original Champion of the House of Batiatus: Gannicus, in a more ruthless time before Spartacus' arrival where honor was just finding its way into the arena.

This is a brand new copy. It has been opened, but never even viewed. I bought 3 of these and didn't realize that I already owned it, so my "scatterbrainedness" is your gain!
