there's no damage on it. it has different adjustments for the length. on the part that the clasp hooks into it says "1928" but that's the only writing on it anywhere.

there is one rhinestone on it right above the dangly part.and then a few pearls. I'm sure that you could take it somewhere to find out if it's real gold or not. =)

1928 is the manufacurer. i have one made by them that i won from here on listis. not the same but from the same company.
