Description

The listing, LG Optimus V Slider Android 2.3 Virgin Mobile has ended.

Gently used LG Optimus V Slider phone Android 2.3 for Virgin Mobile. I will restore to factory settings for whomever gets this phone. I am also including an extended battery and back cover for the phone that I got and would use from time to time, but normally I just used the slimmer battery. Has Google Talk app and Navigation. I included the specs on the phone so you can see that it is a nice phone. Battery is still good, only about 2 months old, and holds a charge. Good luck bidding!!

Would you do a separate auction for the extended battery? I would do a gin @ 6000
Jun 13th, 2013 at 12:56:00 AM PDT by

Unfortunately, once there is a bid it is impossible to do a GIN. I would have to cancel the auction and start over, which is not fair to the people who have already bid on this phone. But thanks for the recommendation, the extended battery is a very important part of this auction. It is always possible to bid on the phone and battery, and relist the phone if all you wanted was the battery. Good luck bidding!!

The Virgin Mobile $35 a month plan is for 300 minutes a month. I actually have a coupon right now for $15 off my next month. I just hope they let me transfer my service to this phone without the VKey.

When I transferred/ported my phone number, I was told by Virgin Mobile that there is no vkey or password, only an account number. I specifically asked what the VKey number was and they said there is none. I would suggest that you call Virgin Mobile and ask. It should be a very simple process since this is a virgin mobile phone.

T-mobile actually has a cheaper plan now for $30 a month. Their phones are just a little more expensive though.
Jun 14th, 2013 at 1:40:17 PM PDT by

It looks like T-mobile's $30/month is for 160 minutes while the Virgin $35/month is 400 minutes. I wouldn't have made it under 160 minutes, but I usually made it under 400 minutes.

Fanned and watching! I might bid later. Can you show me a picture of my facebook page on the phone? I just want to see what it looks like on the phone. My name is Tara Vize, and I am the one in Moline, IL. Also, can you use the wi-fi for free? Or do you have to pay as you go or pay for a contract in order to use the wi-fi?

Ok I got a photo that shows the top of the phone and the fb page, not using the mobile fb app but just google. There is a mobile fb app on the phone but I was kind of hesitant to do anything but just access the google fb public page not the one signing into fb with the mobile app. You scroll down to see the rest of the page with the links on the google page.. Wifi in your home with wireless internet is free, or if you can sign in to an open network like at Dunkin Donuts or the library. wifi on the virgin mobile airwaves when wifi is not available requires a plan. Virgin mobile has one of the cheapest monthly plans of $35/month unlimited internet and texting, which is why I liked it. I used the $35/month plan because I don't do a lot of calling but I text a lot, and it was cheaper than any other plan I could find.

Will this come with the VKey pin so airtime can be added to the account?
Jun 12th, 2013 at 8:17:30 AM PDT by
Original
No. You will have to get your own Virgin Mobile Account and sim,and add this device to your own sim/account. My phone number was transferred to a different service and my account closed.

Is it prepaid and does it come with a charger
Jun 11th, 2013 at 3:56:49 AM PDT by
Original
I can include a charger. Virgin Mobile is prepaid monthly, I had the $35/month plan because I don't call very much but needed unlimited texting and internet. You can check out their site for the different prepaid monthly plans.
