The listing, Vintage Sarah Coventry Colored Glass Paste Rhinestone Brooch/Pendant has ended.
This piece came out of my personal collection. I have too much stuff, I just can't keep hording every piece of vintage jewelry I find if I never wear it lol. I am not sure of the exact age of this piece, my guess would be 40's-60's. It is a small gold tone combination brooch and pendant marked Sarahcov on the back (pic 4). It has white paint or possibly enamel on the front, which is worn, as well as multiple colors of glued in glass paste rhinestones. The center green stone contains depleted uranium and glows under a blacklight (pic 6). I discovered 5 or so years ago when I started collecting antique/vintage items, and then also selling them, that some older green glass paste rhinestones were colored using depleted uranium, just like a lot of the green depression glass, or the older yellow glass, known as vaseline glass. I actually had this piece in my display case with my Vaseline glass collection, which is now in storage, had to make room for my sewing machine. Anyway this piece is well worth the starting credits and the shipping. Hoping it goes to a good home. The penny in the photo is to reference size and is not included. As with all of my vintage/used items this is being sold as is.
