The listing, 200++ Agastache 'Blue Fortune' Seeds - 2010 has ended.
This is a 3 foot to 4 foot tall native perennial member of the mint family that is also known as Anise Hyssop or Licorice Mint. It smells strongly of licorice and shows its initial dark purple fuzzy leaves above ground when the Hyacinths and Daffodils bloom in Spring. It is drought tolerant and needs full sun. Licorice Mint spreads each year as well as re-seeding and attracts Butterflies, Bees, Hummingbirds and seed-eating birds. Check out the photos for the Butterfly and Bees. I couldn't convince the Hummer to pose! ;-) I'm not going to count these very tiny seeds, so the winner will get a few pinches of seeds as well as the flower heads they came from. Plant the flower heads too as there are usually seeds still in there that are viable and will sprout. I found this out when I threw these "empty flower heads" in the compost and dug many baby plants out later! LOL!
