I have three Eisenhower silver dollar coins. They are all in pretty good shape. The dates on them are 1974 D, 1976 Bicentennial, and 1978 D. If you have any questions, I will get back to you as soon as I can.

just thought id let you know that mint from D-denver and P -philadelphia had no silver only S-sanfrancisco had silver so their just regular ike dollars.

Oh ok. I didn't know that the city they were made in was a factor to how much silver they had. All the website told me is that 1971-1976 have 40% silver but I guess that's not true. Thanks for informing me.

Look at the edge of the coin. If you don't see a copper band, then It has silver in it.

I was already told that none of them have silver but I checked anyway and they all have a copper band around them.

I looked it up and the 1974 and 1976 are 40% silver but the 1978 has no silver.

Eisenhower dollars are often called silver dollars out of tradition and habit. Even by people who know that only few of them were made with silver.
