Beautiful vintage heart shaped locket, etched with image of a pair of doves on a branch. Locket is marked "12K GF ON STERLING A.L.L. CO." on the inside. According to several vintage jewelry sites, "A.L.L CO." is the mark for the A.L. Lindroth Co. which made fine and costume jewelry in North Atteboro MA from about 1896-1940. This is a lovely piece with very little wear or tarnish, opens and closes smoothly. I did not clean it for fear of disturbing the patina. Locket measures just under 1 inch tall from loop to point of heart, and 3/4 inch across at widest point. Locket does not include a chain.
