I'm at that point in my life where I wear all my "old stuff" & treasure them even more! You'd be surprised how the wonderful comments you receive gives a lift to your day & a boost to the ego! (A piece or 2 is from my grandma too, & I think about her even more!) Thanks for the info!

i believe the metal to be either silver or platinum. it has no magnetic properties to it, and they did a lot of platinum back then.

thank you. it was my grandmothers. she has been gone now for nearly 20 years, i felt it should be suited for better home, i love jewelry but never wear any, so all my beautiful jewelry just sits in boxes packed away.
