Description
The listing, Trumpet Vine Seeds (min 20 ) has ended.
Will climb as high and wide as you let it. Attracts hummingbirds (one built a nest in mine one year - oh joy). Auction is a 2x2 bag of seeds with at least 20 in it. Probably closer to 40 but I refuse to count!!!
Just so you know...Trumpet vines are slow starters. It will take around four years before it blooms - mark it well so you won't go through all of the "what the hell is this?"'s that I did. Once they are established, you won't get rid of it. Prepare to prune. (although it's very easy - the branches break right off). Some people say they wish they never put them in. I love mine. I love a good, sturdy, dependable plant, and the hummingbirds are the icing on the cake.
Questions & Comments
are these pink or orange, kind of look pinkish.your plant is beautiful
Oh my...I see what you are saying. That is most definately the lighting. They were definately ORANGE for the first four years after blooming, but now as the ages, it is turning darker, with more redish in them, which I like much better. But really, no pink! Sorry. (I wish...I LOVE a nice coral color)
