This auction is for one ball of South Maid's mercerized cotton. It is gauge size 10, and it is purple in color (sorry the pic is so dark, it was hard to get the purple to reproduce right). This is for one of the larger balls, new and unused and still in the shrink wrap, approximately 350 yards in length.Here is what the manufacturers say: "South Maid Crochet Cotton Thread is ideal for all crochet projects including tablecloths, bed spreads, home decor, apparel, and more.
