The necklace itself is made of 4 very thin, leather-like cording along with a sheer black ribbon which meshes well together. It measures 14" long not inc. the flower. The flower itself measures almost 2" in diameter and is made of a surgical steel backing on the entire backing. There are 5 black rhinestone petals along every other petal made of the ss and 5 colored crystals on each petal, making 25 of the small colored crystals. There are, of course, the 6 faux pearls in the center of this flower to finish it in a most elegant way! This piece is a piece which will endure just about anything!
