Description
The listing, Sunset Runner Beans~Heirloom Organic for 2013 Flowers, Edible Large beans has ended.
This auction is for 10 Organic Sunset Runner Beans for 2013 Current Planting Season. I have extras from the bag I got from Seed Saver's Exchange heirlooms. These are fresh from the bag : )
65-70 days. Runner beans are all attractive enough for flower gardens or patios, but this one is in a class by itself: Luminous peach to shell-pink blossoms are absolutely unique in our experience. Vines to 6 feet or so are covered in due course with cascades of runner bean pods, equally wonderful whether used as snaps fresh, canned or frozen, or as shell beans. Lovely!
Questions & Comments
whoops, bid on these before I realized I had won the others, wow short memory :(
Oh no! Well, they are really cool, maybe you are meant to have more! I know that once I saw them, I immediately ordered a pound, because just a little pack was not going to do it. I now planted them around the base of all the trees in my yard and also growing through the railings up our porch and around the base of the porch where we have a lattice like covering, and they are growing like weeds and so beautiful. You really can't have too many I don't think! But of everything I have growing, these are the favorite this year!! They are beautiful, and delicious!
@nostodm: I have your first pack of these that you previously won in the mailbox, but I can take it out if you want and if you win these today, I can just combine the shipping for you. It would be basically the same price I think. It would be better than you paying another $2.08. It would probably end up being like $2.50 or something to ship all of them in the same one. Just let me know!
