Handmade Dangle Earrings (Acrylic and/or glass beads) Silvertone fittings - hangs approx 3" long

Silver/gold TONE (not silver) is a base metal alloy that is meant to give the illusion of silver without the cost. Extremely popular, silver/gold tone can be seen on products from off-brand to designer and celebrity jewelry lines. Silver/gold tone jewelry can be made from a variety of metals and the quality varies greatly between combinations. However, it is always considered costume jewelry. Over time, the silver-colored coating on jewelry will wear off, exposing the usually copper-colored base. This can take years if jewelry is taken care of. Unfortunately I DO NOT know the base alloy of this piece.

CLEANING TIP: It is advised to take off your jewelry before washing or bathing. Clean it gently with soft cloth or an appropriate jewelry cleaner, this could help to eliminate any dirt or dust and make it last for years. This is for any metal purity or plating.
