Dell Inspiron 1525

I have one of these, and for those that don't know, there are COMMUNITIES online dedicated to the use of Mac OS X on these laptops. I currently run OS X 10.6.8 on mine and it works like a $1500 MBP. The only thing that doesn't work is Bootcamp, but that's what a dual boot for Windows is for (oh, and Windows 7 and 8 both run excellent on it).

The chipset is a 965 and the CPU upgrade options are thru the roof. Most Merom and Penryn (Socket P with 800MHz FSB) CPUs are compatible, it will take up to 4GB DDR2-6400 RAM, it has 3 mPCIe slots internally, so you can upgrade the wifi to dual band N, put a mPCI SSD in it and still have a slot left for AT&T 3g on the go connectivity!! Also, some came with Bluetooth, some not. The Dell 350 and 360 series are both compatible, and there is a place for it built in under the 'touchpad' above the keyboard. The volume buttons and such are touch.

people think these auctions are fake when you have 0 % feedback and that you want money for shipping. look at the auctions with free shippn , they go over 30,000 creds and more. iv seen them go over 200,000.

It is a 15 inch screen as well. Web cam & mic, HDMI, WiFi. Speakers are great. Great condition overall.
