I grade this bill to be in Fine Condition and here is why;

1.) It is "intact" & has it's corners to the points
2.) It has ZERO Rips Or Tears
3.) It is free of any writing
4.) Paper brightness is medium

Light wrinkles present, but really the brightness being medium is why I hold it back from a higher grading..

Fine condition, wonderful collectable grade note, from the SDH collection.

Yes, it does mean it is more rare and of higher value (collectors find old star notes very desirable). I am specifically referring to star notes made before 1964. Here is the Wikipedia info on a star note; "The Bureau of Engraving and Printing inspects currency for printing errors prior to releasing notes into general circulation. When notes are discovered that have been printed incorrectly (such as having the serial numbers upside down, etc.) the misprinted "error notes" are replaced with star notes."
