You Place this on top of you Sims card out side of the Phone.
You insert Both together (Layers on top of each other)

If you have T-Mobile service for instance) it will be like you just put your chip in to another T-Mobile phone and you use the phone like you would any other phone.
This dos not give you FREE service or Internet. That depends on your Mobile Service provider and you Service agreement

so how do you unlock a phone that doesn't have a sim card? I have 2 scenarios for you, first I I bought a used couch and found a samsung verizon phone in it and it's locked will this work so that I can use that phone? I have verizon. Second, I'd like to bid on a nokia 6085 that is on at&t and I'm on verizon - would this work for that?
