Here are 20 seeds of a rare and unusual succulent. This plant is native to a large area in Africa. It is related to Bowiea volubilis, the so-called climbing onion, and the pregnant onion plant. This plant requires very bright sun and watering only once the soil is dry. It produces a large bulb that peels like an onion. The foliage is tiny, wiry, green stems that produce small white flowers. The flowers are self-fertile.

No, the seeds come after the flowers are fertilized. In the picture, the green balls are the fruit which turn brown and the seeds are inside. The onions are the plant.
