This Stuff is Free Too:
Description

The listing, 2 Floppy Drive - Supposedly Working Apple II Plus - Free Shipping has ended.

This is a vintage Apple 2 Plus, made in 1979 or 1980. Supposedly it still works. I'm offering free shipping in the US without the Sanyo color monitor. If you want the monitor the shipping charge will be $22.

The drives are actually more like the second image. These are canned images, not the actual item.

It will come with two joysticks and a bunch of good software not copies but the original retail disks. Here's a list of the commercial software I'll ship, some have the boxes included from the original packaging:

* Apple Adventure - game
* Apple Present...Apple An Intro to the Keyboard
* Apple Stellar Invaders - game
* Broderbund's Apple Panic - game
* Apple Writer 1.1
* Sirius Software's Beer Run - game
* Artworx' Bridge 2.0 - game
* Diskware's DOS Tool Kit - Programming Utilities
* Diskware DOS .3. System Master
* Discware DOS 3.3 BASICS
* Hayden Microcomputer's Sargon II - game
* Will Harvey's Music Construction Set
* Electronic Art's Julius Erving /Larry Bird Go One-on-One - game
* Special Delivery Software - Personal Finance Manager
* pfs: - for use with Apple II Systems - presumably version I.
* Small C - by Mike Bernson Disks 1 and 2
* Softalk's SoftGraph - Public Domain Software
* BudgeCo's Rasterblaster - game?
* Automated Simulations Temple of Apshai
* Penguin Software's The Complete Graphics System II
* Microsoft's Typing Tutor II
* Infocom's Zork II

All the software is copyright 1979 - 1982. not sure if they all work. I will throw in shipping the manuals if you want. About 2/3 of the manuals appear to be there. There's also an old Hayes modem I'll throw in the lot since it came with the machine.

On eBay working Apple II Pluses generally sell for $200 without monitors. The software might add $200. to the price, so this could be resold for about $400...maybe.

That's impressive. Computers were too complicated for me back then. I felt like I was too lazy to learn Basic and to operate them. So they scared me then, although I was about 20, old enough I think.

Nobody in our family had one, but we did have a no-name brand computer from circa 1979 that unfortunately we got rid of.

That's my fault. I hate cameras so I generally use canned photos unless it's coins where I just scan them..

My advice is put lot's of stuff you don't need up for auction and be willing to offer free shipping. You never know what will explode in terms of auction price...Also be willing to make detailed descriptions.

I just found some more books I think I got at the same time. They are all in good shape. I will send via Media Mail separately if the winner wants them. They appear not to be manuals for software listed before, but technical computer books about the subject or of the same era as the Apple II:
* Apple Machine Language by Don Inman and Kurt Inman
* Apple II User's Guide by Lon Poole with Martin McNiff and Steve Cook
* Hands - On Basic for the Apple II by Herbert Peckham with Wade Ellis and Edi Lodi
* Assembly Lines: The Book: A Beginner's Guide to 6502 Programming on the Apple II by Roger Wagner
* Beneath Apple DOS by Don Worth and Pieter Lechner (Published by Quality Software)
* What's Where in the Apple - An Atlas to the Apple Computer by William F. Luebbert
