World War II era men's felt breast coat pocket patch featuring coat of arms of Scotland. Probably worn by former military man that served in Scottish unit or for national designation? The patch is old and shows some age but otherwise in good condition. Please enlarge to see patch winner will receive in this auction.

The patch is about 4 inches across and about 4 1/4 inches up and down

Is this authentic WWII era or a replica?

It is old and among things in trunk I inherited from an aunt. Most of the items in the trunk were from late 1930's and 1940's so from that period and not a replica (not sure what a relica it would be as I do not know the origin or who wore the patch? If someone knows the origin of the patch I would interested in knowing?)
