The listing, Vintage Gas Pump Bank...Nice!!! has ended.

I don't believe this qualifies as a real antique, but it is definitely vintage and in really nice shape...
Winner gets this nice old coin bank that is shaped like an old gas pump. The bank says it is a Save Often gas pump...
What's really neat is there a bell inside the bank that rings like the pumps of yesteryear every time a coin is put inside it...
Bell works fine and the bank itself has no cracks or chips from what I can tell...
The black rubber stopper is still on the bottom of the bank...
Bank seems to have been made by a company called LEGO , as there is a sticker of such on it a manufacturers mark of the same on the bottom...
I really have no idea if this bank is rare or valuable or expensive or just junk...
All I know for sure is that highest bidder gets this with FREE SHIPPING...!!!

Is it plastic or ceramic?

It's ceramic...the only plastic is what is supposed to be the fuel dispenser on the side and then there's the rubber stopper on the bottom...

From what I found out about it after putting it up, it was made in the 60's in Japan...the example I saw sold on feebay last month for $10 plus $7.25 shipping and it was missing the stopper...

There isn't any manufacturing date on it....From the homework I did on it, I gathered that it was made during the 1960's in Japan...
