This is an incredible Trillion cut Tanzanite & Diamond Ring set in 14k white gold. I purchased it on Tanzanite.com about 4-5 years ago for just under $800. After wearing it for about 4 months I banged it on something and the Tanzanite fell out. Fortunately I immediately checked my ring, sure enough the Tanzanite was missing and I looked down and there it was. However, I was out of work and in no position to spend was missing but looking down...there it was. However being out of work and in no position to spend money on jewelry I couldn't fix it. It has been sitting in my jewelry box for years. I take it out and look at it now and again, but with my health problems spending money on jewelry is just not feasible. It is a spectacular Tanzanite, deep purple with slight flashes of red now and then. And flanked by 2 rows of 5 Diamonds on both sides totaling 20 diamonds surrounding this rare Gem. I do not remember the carat of the Tanzanite, it's at least 1/3 ct. A stunner!! The Tanzanite just needs to be re-set and is so worth it!! Tanzanite is one if not the rarest gemstone on earth, even rarer is one of this color and quality, I am gonna miss it, but it's not doing me or anyone else any good sitting in a box.
SIZE 7 1/2 + about three hairs width bigger. So, slightly bigger than 7 1/2, but not by much. They both fit me, just one is tighter than the other.
