I have 15 of Velvet Queen Sunflower seeds from my own harvest up for bids...
The Velvet Queen Sunflower (a very exquisite sunflower) is very rich with dark mahogany-red petals that surround charcoal black disks on 5' to 7' tall with blooms of around 6"... Most of mine were the average of 6' last year... They are well branched and strong stalked; great for borders and make a very beautiful arrangement of fresh cut flowers... Combine them with other colors & have an amazing arrangement that last for a few weeks... Mine lasted longer than a few weeks after cutting them but I also fed them with fresh cut flower food as well... Birds just love these seeds!! I use most of my seeds after harvesting them for the birds through out the year... It is also an outstanding ornamental sunflower...
