really pretty! those are rubber stopper beads not metal??

The end balls are metal and they unscrew to come off. You don't need the rubber stoppers at all, they just keeps your beads from falling off if you unscrew the ball. And if you are wearing just a few beads at a time they keep them together and centered on the bracelet.
