Description

The listing, Grande Passion (Gladiolus) has ended.

I have 1 Bulb offer... I recently acquired these bulbs & planted what I wanted of them & thought I would share the rest with Listians whom are interested. This is my first go on growing these so I had to do a lil research on them...
Grande Passion is one variety of the Gladiolus Flower Family & typically grows as an Annual... Grande Passion is known for its Erect habit & growing to a height of approximately 48" to 60" tall & tends to bloom in mid summer & is normally fairly low in maintenance & is normally quite easy to grow, as long as a level of basic care is provided throughout the year.
Try to plant in a location that enjoys full sun and remember to water moderately. Keep in mind when planting that Grande Passion is thought of as half hardy, so protect with a row cover whenever the temperatures drop. I looked up the zone info with the USDA Hardiness Zones & the typical zones associated with Grande Passion are Zone 8 & Zone 10. Grande Passion tends to grow best in a soil ph of between 6.7 and 7.0 meaning it does best in weakly acidic soil - neutral soil. I always presoak my bulbs before planting them... Its better & easier on germination of the bulbs... I did so with these as well...

I This is a perennial, not an annual. It will continue to grow back for a minimum of 3 years.
