Andrew Garner was a 25-year-old professional chef. Having moved back to Washington, D.C. after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, his passion for cooking takes him on a job hunt to the Grand Hotels in the Washington area, becoming an event planner for one. There he meets Heather Richbourg, who teaches him a few things about sex he never had encountered. During their first sexual encounter in Andy’s living room, Heather handcuffs him and gives a lapdance, unlike anything he had ever experienced.
Six months into their relationship, Heather disappears without notice, leaving Andy alone and broken hearted. Hoping to cheer himself up, he enters a local chili cook off to lift his spirits, where he meets Rose, a showman at the cook off, there with a traveling carnival, and he wonders just how submissive she will be. Their romance takes off quickly, in part due to both partners having been single for a substantial portion of the last year.
Andy engages Rose in the activities he learned from Heather, taking them both on an adventure in sex and love. The couple engages in consensual power play, swapping between submissive and Dominant roles in their bed. The couple takes on having a second woman join them for their playtime, using Domination to lure her in. They both looked forward to their time behind closed doors, knowing that they would be tying each other help, making the other helpless to their games. These adventures in bed result in Rose becoming pregnant, with both Andy and Rose excited about the news. While they both strive to give the best they can for the baby, neither of them could predict the outcome of the pregnancy. After Rose begins the second stage of active labor, time begins to blur, driving Andy out of the room and waiting for an answer as to what happened.
This is the story of Andrew Garner, and two relationships revolving around bondage and dominance, and above all else, love.
