Oh, you're right! You also have the one with the hole in it, I don't have any of those, sadly :(. This is all of the Israeli coins I have, I believe. I'm going to try to list everything I have from a single country ... it's easier to keep track of the research that way.

Thanks! I have a few more to list tonight, and have done the resarch on another bunch (India, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, USSR, and I have TONS of coins from Canada, Mexico and Germany--but need to take the photos, which takes a while. It's snowing AGAIN here in Iowa, so I guess I'll have some time ... *sigh*

I am GREATLY interested in the German coins. Hey, if you come across any Irish or Scottish currency, greatly interested in them too as I am parts of all three *Smiles*

I do have some Irish, but no Scottish that I know of. I have coins from more countries than you can shake a stick at ... lots of the former countries, too! Got a bunch of Asian stuff that I'll probably never figure out ...even Asian people usually can't read any other language than their own.

I have a big bunch of English coins, but I'm not sure they are all English, maybe some of them are from other parts of the UK. Seems that if there are Irish coins, there should be Scottish and Welsh coins, don't you think?

I would think so but isn't Ireland it's own country whereas I believe Scotland is still under British rule?? ( i could be wrong here...)

Sorry to jump in here about Scottish coins. Scotland does use UK currency, though in the past it did have a few coins. As for Ireland, I think you are talking about Northern Ireland. What is commonly referred to as Ireland does have its own currency and I believe is self ruling.

Addendum: Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, Great Britain, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey are all part of the UK. Ireland wouldn't be. Thought my last post was perhaps confusing.

Thanks ... these Israeli coins are beautiful. I think that is what draws a lot of people to coins, gorgeous miniature works of art that depict important elements of history and culture.

All my auctions are wysiwyg (what you see is what you get). I will be away tonight and tomorrow, returning Saturday evening. I can probably get online at some point, but won't be able to respond to comments as quickly as usual.
