a 1876 shield nickel in pretty good condition for its age. needs to be cleaned has something black on it was like that when I bought it 25 years ago. all my coins were bought like they are.bought them 25 yrs. ago at an auction. only took them out of the cover to take pics then put them back in and stapled back
